Silvia Vaienti

Dr. Silvia Vaienti is Medical Doctor specialized in dermatology and venereology.

Silvia graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the State University of Milan and specialized at the University of Verona.

During her training, she underwent a period of training in France at Hôpital Henri Mondor in Paris-Crèteil, where she was able to delve into the management of complex skin pathologies, both neoplastic and inflammatory.

In Dermatos Specialist Dermatology Center , she is the outpatient surgical referral and is responsible for the surgical removal of benign (such as nevi, cysts, lipomas) and malignant (such as melanomas, basal cell carcinomas, squamous cell carcinomas, and other rare malignancies) skin neoplasms.

Silvia's work also includes outpatient visits for oncological, inflammatory, and infectious diseases of both the skin and skin adnexa (nails and hair).
She collaborates at the Operative Unit of Dermatology of the Policlinico Ca' Granda Hospital in Milan, Italy, where she focuses on dermatologic oncology and dermatosurgery.

Her attention is always directed, first and foremost, to the patient's medical history. For Silvia, dermoscopy is a key part of the objective examination and supports the final diagnosis.

Finally, her field of interest also extends to skin histopathology for which she is in constant training.
