Claudia Menicanti

Dr. Claudia Menicanti is founder of Dermatos Specialty Dermatology Center, where she is also medical director and responsible for organizing and supervising the second-level specialty outpatient clinics.

Claudia is a Medical Doctor specialized in dermatology and venereology and studied at the University of Milan where she graduated and specialized. She also certified in dermopathology in 2023 by passing the European Board in Frankfurt, a prestigious qualification in the histological diagnosis of all skin diseases for both neoplastic and inflammatory diseases

Much of her training, in addition to the University of Milan, took place in Spain, at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where dermatology represents a globally recognized peak of excellence.

During her career, she also spent time training at New York University where she honed dermatoscopy and video dermatoscopy techniques for mapping nevi and skin lesions and where she learned cutting-edge techniques in aesthetic and regenerative medicine.

At the Policlinico Hospital in Milan, she treated both neoplastic and inflammatory skin diseases such as acne, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, infectious skin diseases, and sexually transmitted infections.

She is also a consultant dermatopathologist at CDC Lab Consulenze Diagnostiche Cito-histologiche, Italy's leading laboratory for the histological diagnosis of inflammatory diseases and skin neoplasms.

Every year she is invited as a speaker to national and international congresses for her expertise in dermatopathological diagnosis.
